If you have many devices, reduce the number of devices to one.
Close multiple tabs on your computer to reduce the potential things that might be running in your background
Ensure that there are no apps/ bitorrent that are running in the background, consuming your speeds. To exit torrent:
- Right-click on the uTorrent icon in the system tray and click Exit.
- The system tray is located on the lower right-hand side of the screen, next to the clock. Chances are you will be able to see only a few of the icons
Torrent is a kind of point-to-point (P2P) file-sharing technology where a number of users can connect and share files rather than being dependent on a single website, server or source for downloading files.
To end application running in the background on windows:
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and then Alt-T to open Task Manager's Applications tab
